And join in the March for the Ocean - even if we can't be in D.C.
World Oceans Day is a global event - communities are gathering around the world in solidarity with our oceans.
Activities of humans around the globe are impacting the health of the oceans - plastics are clogging the stomachs of animals, offshore drilling adds risks of spills and seismic blasting harms large mammals, chemicals impact the water, and more carbon in the atmosphere is causing the waters to warm at a quicker rate. Everything is connected.
Gather at this family friendly, free event with your blankets and chairs for a panel of experts (details listed soon) to discuss ocean conservation issues and then watch the fabulous film DisneyNature's Ocean (2009).
Food trucks will be on site selling fabulous yummy food, and your purchase of drinks and popcorn will benefit CFROG and Paso Pacifico to help support their work related to ocean conservation.
Wear blue to the event for our solidarity photo.
Movie will start when it's dark.
