Join CFROG at the Topa Topa Brewing Co., Ojai Tap Room to learn about an oil drilling project Ventura County has approved off Creek Road, and how you can help the City of Ojai protect the air and watershed in the Ojai Valley by supporting their appeal of the project.
A public hearing is set for January 15 at the Ventura County Government Center and your county supervisors need to hear from you.
The City of Ojai has challenged the County's approval of the ongoing 30 year operation of 9 oil wells behind Persimmon Hill. The oil company has been flaring methane illegally for decades, but now the county wants to give them permission to keep flaring.
Methane is a major contributor to Climate Change.
Come learn how you can help stop this project and push back against the influence of the fossil fuel industry in Ventura County.
CFROG is grateful to Topa Topa Brewing Co. for letting us gather at their new Ojai Tap Room to share this information with you and for donating 10% of all sales during our meeting ( 6-8pm ) to CFROG.
